For your pet’s safety, ALL PETS MUST BE CURRENT ON VACCINATIONS before being boarded, having surgery or daystays.
If your pet has not been vaccinated at Atascazoo Animal Hospital, a vaccination history from a licensed veterinarian is required.
This includes Bordetella, Influenza, Rabies, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, and Leptospirosis) vaccine for dogs as well as a negative intestinal parasite exam. A negative intestinal parasite exam, Rabies, and FRCP (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) are needed for cats.
All animals must be free of internal and external parasites. If internal or external parasites are detected, they will be treated at the owner’s expense.
This is to protect other pets that are boarding with us as well as your pet. If proof of vaccinations is not given at time of drop off, the pet will be charged an isolation fee of $23 until proof of vaccinations are obtained. If vaccinations are not current they will need to be updated while the pet is staying with us. Ideally we recommend that vaccinations be given at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.
For a copy of our boarding contract, see our online forms.
Our boarding prices vary depending on the cage size and the pet’s weight. When there are multiple pets boarding in the same cage, one pet will be charged the cage price and the additional pets will be charged by their weight.
